Terms of Use
Last updated October 19, 2026
These terms apply to your use of the Northwood Arbor Care website and the general information it provides. Northwood Arbor Care serves Minneapolis, St. Paul and nearby communities in Minnesota. By using this site, you agree to these terms.
Consultations and estimates
Initial consultations and estimates are free and are intended to help identify possible work and next steps. An estimate is not a contract for services until both sides agree to the scope, schedule, and applicable terms. Final recommendations and pricing may depend on an on-site assessment, tree condition, access, equipment, and other site conditions. Please ask us to clarify anything that is not clear before approving work.
Tree Tag and website information
The Tree Tag, ZIP checker, seasonal guidance, and other website content are general information tools. Tree Tag results are a guide, not a diagnosis, inspection, or substitute for advice from a qualified arborist who has assessed the tree in person. Do not rely on the tools to determine that a tree is safe. If a tree or limb presents an immediate hazard, keep people away and contact emergency services or the appropriate utility as needed.
Scheduling and weather
Appointments and work dates are coordinated with you and may change because of weather, site conditions, safety concerns, equipment needs, or other events outside our reasonable control. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate schedule changes and arrange a new time. Emergency response timing depends on conditions and crew availability.
Payment
Any payment obligations, accepted payment methods, and due dates for approved work will be stated in the applicable estimate, service agreement, or invoice. No payment information is requested through the website consultation form. Please contact us promptly if you have a question about a bill or an agreed service.
Safety, insurance, and credentials
Northwood Arbor Care represents that it carries $5 million in insurance and is accredited by the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA). Work is subject to safe access and site conditions. You agree to share relevant information about the property and to keep people and pets clear of the work area as directed by the crew. Specific coverage and work obligations are governed by the applicable service agreement and insurance terms.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the website and its general tools are provided “as is,” without a guarantee that the information is complete, current, or suited to a particular tree or property. Northwood is not responsible for decisions made solely on the basis of online guidance. Nothing in these terms limits liability where such a limitation is prohibited by law. Any liability related to contracted tree care is subject to applicable law and the written terms agreed for that work.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be handled in a court with appropriate jurisdiction in Minnesota, subject to applicable law.
